The Last Real Summer, written by Warren Graves

Producer - Alaina Holland
Director - Angela Bell
Stage Manager - Barb Coulter

Run Dates: October 15 - November 14, 2009
Elizabeth Wharton returns to her small hometown in Alberta, where she shares with us her memories of growing up in the late 30's/early 40's.  Elizabeth's memories come to life for the audience, as she takes us with her on a nostalgic journey through the past.  The touching, often funny stories of a high school crush, war, prohibition, olympic cycling, and a multitude of other experiences provide something for every patron.  Music of the 30's and 40's sets the tone, and the characters of Elizabeth's youth, much like old photographs themselves, tell an emotional story of life, love and loss.
Presented with permission of Playwright's Union of Canada
